Case 3 : Down’s Syndrome with AVSD and ARSA at 17-18 weeks

banner-img The patient was referred to us for a Level II scan with fetal echocardiography at 17-18 weeks. We picked up complete balanced atrio-ventricular septal defect (AVSD) with aberrant right sub-clavian artery. This case highlights the importance of conducting a detailed fetal echocardiography at the time of Level II scan and to make an attempt to look for the course and origin of right sub-clavian artery in every case.
